Central Jersey Chapter Nursing home ministry

HOPE worldwide Central  Jersey Chapter now has a nursing home ministry serving at the Amboy Center in Perth Amboy once a month for about 1.25 hours per visit.

We would like to grow this ministry to be able to meet with the residents twice a month and possibly expand to another facility. If you would like to volunteer your time or need any additional information please see Pete or Diana Sutton.

HOPE worldwide makes a difference on MLK Birthday

On Saturday January 15th more than a hundred volunteers of the Central Jersey Chapter of HOPE Worldwide donated their time and effort to help in fire prevention and fire safety. The project was in collaboration with the American Red Cross. It was one of the coldest weekends of the year but the volunteers braved the cold and made an impact on the Perth Amboy, New Jersey community.
Just this past December, Perth Amboy’s residents suffered a devastating fire that left more than 100 tenants homeless.
